To maintain your TRAQ qualification, you must attend a renewal course every five years.

”The ISA TRAQ credential is valid for five (5) years from the date it is earned. A credential holder must retrain and retest every five years in order to renew their credential. — Current ISA TRAQ credential holders may register for and complete an ISA TRAQ Renewal Course or Full course as early as 18 months prior to their expiration date. ISA TRAQ holders who do not take the renewal course and exam before their expiration date will be required to retake the full ISA TRAQ course and pass its exam to requalify.”

Course content

During this one-day course, you will receive an update of the TRAQ and take a new theoretical and a new practical test.

Course fee

• 3900 SEK for members of ISA and the Swedish Chapter
• 4400 SEK for members of the Swedish Chapter
• 4700 SEK for nonmembers

All prices excluding VAT. The fee includes tea/coffee and lunch.

Course leader

Johan Östberg is a docent in landscape architecture with a specialization in landscape planning. He is also an ISA Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, TRAQ Qualified, VETCert-certified and co-owner of Trädkontoret AB.

Swedish version

För att behålla sin TRAQ-kvalificering måste man gå en uppdateringskurs vart femte år.

Uppdateringen kan göras 18 månader innan TRAQ-kvalificeringen går ut, men måste vara gjord innan TRAQ-kvalificeringen går ut, annars måste hela TRAQ-kursen göras om. Även om uppdateringen görs innan kvalificeringen går ut blir förlängs alltid kvalificeringen till femårsintervall från dess att kvalificeringen först togs.
